This is a beautiful, hand carved PEACH wood spoon with a curved carved handle. You can see a “secret owl” in wood grain on the back of the spoon-check out the picture!
This spoon was carved from sustainably harvested wood. Most of our wood is obtained from trees that were damaged or fell during a storm. This is a natural wood product which will patina over time, changing its color. This is a normal part of the joy of owning a hand-carved wooden spoon.
As with all-natural wood, the color may fade over time as the wood gets its natural patina. This won’t detract from the lasting beauty of this legacy piece.

Use and Care: Dishwasher is not recommended. We recommend handwashing with soap and water. Let air dry. Your spoon comes conditioned with food safe oil. If it needs to be reconditioned, you can use any polymerizing oil such as walnut, mineral, flaxseed or any butcher block conditioner.
